Supernatural Story

Pardon me for taking so long to put this up. You see, I have been under a heavy barrage of tests and after the dust has settled, and three failures in two days later, I am back to talk about the unfateful nights that beheld me a couple of weeks ago.

It was on one of those nights that I was doing my usual area cleaning that I chanced upon a huge spider crawling on my bedsheets. I usually would have given the bugger two hoots and a headshot but that particular night, I chose to show mercy and the arachnid merrily crawled away to a new hiding place.

After I did my mugging and tired out, I went to sleep for the night. My roommate turned in too, tired from the day's activities.

(At this point in time, I must pause to mention that the previous nights prior to this night were not a peaceful one. I had weird dreams that shocked me awake.)

In the middle of the night, I happen to come awake suddenly. For some reason. I usually sleep through the night like a log so it was odd.

I felt a weight on my chest.

Moving.

It was not a heavy weight so as to speak, about the weight of a rat actually (not that I have actually felt the weight of a rat on my hand before). You can imagine.

I must take another pause to mention here that I have suriphobia. Google it up to find out the meaning of that word. See! You learn something new everyday!

Anyway back to the story...

By instinct, my hands reached to my chest to brush the weight off. When contact was made, the fella actually started running around on my chest! I shit you not! I got more and more paranoid and in a matter of seconds, I was panicking like a madman sweeping my chest violently and screaming for help.

Apparently my screams for help were so loud that Pakie sleeping across the other end of the room came to see what was going on. My roommate, awake by now, grabbed me.

By then the weight was gone. But we didn't see anything.

I mentioned this to my folks and a link was somehow made to the spider that I saw earlier. Apparently these arachnids have the ability to lie flat on you in your sleep! Not literally of course. You get the point.

I had a bad dream the following night, which concluded a terrible sleep-less week for me.

Now, do you see why I failed three tests in two days?
